Three villas at the prestigeuos adress in Prague.
The purpose of the concept is the evaluation of the traditional Prague address, position of the building sites on the boundary of the build-up area and the park, panoramic views on the Prague dominants, ideal orientation to the world quarters and dramatic morphology. It also takes maximum efforts to open oneself to the views and the contact with the garden and to keep at the same time the feeling of privacy of individual villas. The three-storeyed tower masses
having resulted from the original regulation shaded each other and the contact with the garden had only the lowest storey. The project made use of the downhill grade for the placing of two-storeyed villas so that they can „overlook one another“ in both the storeys. It enabled not only to broaden the panorama but also place the living rooms without a confrontation with the neighbour, actually the feeling of autonomy. Both the disposition and the interior are designed with the aim to amplify the magnificent impression of the unlimited horizon.
Both the storeys are tied up directly with the garden. The complicated composition of the interpenetrating interior and the living terraces is unified with a sort of a honeycombed roof – pergola - the design of which was inspired by the autumn leaves having fallen down on the grass. The roof enables to light up the terraces even in the depth of the disposition and at the same time it protects their intimacy especially from the looks from the villa houses in the following row. Those then due to the lowered heights of the villas gained an excellent panorama.
