The Smíchov Transport Interchange is following the brownfield Smíchov Cargo Railway Station's conversion into the new district. It is all about the most comprehensive Prague multifunctional transport interchange connecting a new network of international high-speed trains, suburban trains, a tube, trams, city and suburban buses, a taxi, cars, and bicycles. The superimposing of the transport network layers is a useful program, where one network layer covers the other one. It causes a significant area saving, which is extremely valuable in the dense city structure and provides comfortable and short interchanges (250.000 per day). The overlayed bus station and lower railway network create a new basis,  which connects all significant destinations. Nowadays, it is impossible to reach that. The proposal aims to set up the priority of passengers and pedestrians, not even technical principles. The project strives for a dignified and unique city environment where everyone will understand it, and all interchanges will be logical, comfortable, and barrier-free.
