In cooperation with Nema, we have developed a versatile modular timber house system. The building system can be assembled from units ranging in size from 1 + KK to 4 + KK, as starter and affordable housing for a wide range of users. The subdivision of the house into smaller, graspable units that can grow to large urban structures allows it to blend with local conditions and scale. The airy structure of the houses alternates a full spectrum of open shared spaces with an emphasis on a socially charged concept of playful interspace between the indoor and outdoor environment.
