The building at the prestigious address partially changed the content, no longer conforming to current parameters on housing comfort and especially safety. The program of its adaptation also required the creation of representative residences on the last floors and a communal terrace on the roof of the building. To increase the utility of individual floor plans, it proved preferable to remove the vertical communication core from the center of the layout and place it outside, in a new extension. At the same time, it will meet current security requirements. And there was also room for a dignified entrance lobbies. The "cleaned up" layout allowed newly free ly located apartments. The only limit was the number of existing window openings for housing. Thanks to this, the building has managed to increase the number of apartments and their spatial standard. The courtyard-only flats have been completely removed. The metal structure on the roof terrace not only creates the framework of the superstructure, but especially links the building programme with the highly complex conditions of local regulation.
