The concept works with the already archetypal skyline. The skyline concept has become an icon evoking expectations. It is a subconscious promise of metropolitan experiences, intensive social life, encountering, and entertainment.  It is a promise of a sophisticated world of elegance, style, luxury, and decadence. The stylised skyline is transformed into a seemingly complicated composition rich with vistas, overlapping, and sandwiching. In fact, it is a honeycomb structure unified into a raft at the level +3.0 m to +6.0 m spanning a long distance over the bar’s floor plan. The raft rests on reduced supports allowing merge the ground floor and the disco bar without any restriction. A set of towers rises from the raft functioning as a sunscreen by day. Disco lights illuminate them after dusk. They turn into a spatial equaliser mirroring in the lagoon. Regarding the functions, the pavilion is divided into two parts – a restaurant/bar/disco and a retail area. The restaurant including its kitchen amenities is just single-storied. The retail areas consist of two independent units, and the first floor (+3.0 m) is used for staff amenities. The built symbol of the American culture in Venice is retaliation for the multiplication of Venice in the USA, balancing the cultural match Europe vs. America to a 1:1 draw.
